mining company, has bagged two prestigious mining projects at Thailand. These projects will be on a 50:50 joint venture with a contract value of a whopping 110 mn USD for a lease period of 10 years. This is NAPC’ first overseas mining project. NAPC has also signed a manganese ore mine in Laos, Cambodia.

Speaking to media persons at a press conference, Mr. Varun Manian, Director, NAPC said, “This is an extremely significant development for NAPC. With this NAPC will be involved in the final price of the product unlike the contracting alone in the earlier stages.”

These two mines are located at Wang Pong and Pa Tong in 5000 acres and 2000 acres respectively and will provide employment opportunities to over 1000 thai people, besides providing off shore working experience to around 80 NAPC engineers across levels.

He further added, NAPC is already in the process of executing infra structure projects in UAE and Maldives.

NAPC had undertaken Rs 75-crore overseas road project in Dubai, the Al-awir road that is the highway to Oman and Hatta. Currently, it is executing “Green Line Elevated Section traffic diversion work at Abuhail Station. NAPC is currently working on Villa Airport in the Maldives, the pet project of the Finance Minister Abraham Rashid, setting up ready mix concrete plants in Abu Dhabi and landscape contracting in Dubai increasing their global footprint.

On infrastructure, besides the execution of World Bank funded highway projects, NAPC has also undertaken contracts for the National Highways Authority, airport and port authorities, public works departments and city corporations.

NAPC has also executed several major projects for multinationals such as Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, Saint Gobain, Dupont, Walbridge Brown and Root, Visteon, Caterpillar, Nokia, Motorola, Flextronics, Komatsu and recently, Nissan Renault. NAPC’ services covered diverse activities such as land development, roads, drainage and other infrastructure.
