The firm had a net profit of Rs 731.55 crore in FY'07, Bharat Electronics said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The consolidated total income of the company rose to Rs 4,451.54 crore in FY'08, from Rs 4,246.33 crore in the previous fiscal.

The board has declared a dividend of 147 per cent at the rate of Rs 14.70, on shares of face value of Rs 10, for 2007-08.

The company announced a standalone net profit of Rs 826.74 crore for the financial year ended March 31, a 15.12 per cent growth over the year-ago period. The firm had a net profit of Rs 718.16 crore in
